Parts, Tools and Supplies:
- McMaster-Carr - great source for hardware, good shipping to Canada (no brokers fee).
- Chassis Shop - some hard to get parts, but ask for USPS as UPS charges brokerage fee
cross border.
- Bicknell Racing Products - great racing shop, has an outlet in Canada.
- Chadwick & Trefethen - reamer manufacturers - great to deal with, great prices.
- Aldan Shock Absorber Company, where I got my coil over shocks. Not cheap, but reasonable. They forgot
to send my spanner with my shipment, and were kind enough to send it along
(at no additional charge to me) after I contacted them.
- Grisdale Racing Products - Circle Track parts and accessories. I haven't dealt with them myself,
but they come highly recommended.
- Dampertech - Shocks for kit cars and Locosts in the UK, or contact Tricky Hargraves
in AU.
- White Pointer - Fiberglass components, including Locosts. Located in Queensland, AU.
Other Builders:
- Alan's Meerkat a mid-engined variation on the Locost 7 theme.
- Rob Lane's site, a UK builder.
- Jim McSorley's site US builder, a must see site for some great Locost info. Has a list of
NA builders as well as some acclaimed CAD drawings.
General:
- http://www.onthenet.com.au/~billzila - a good site for the 4AGE engines among other cool things.
- Locost WebRing many valuable sites.
- TM Technologies - a great site for metal working and welding supplies. I got an aluminum
gas welding kit, it comes with a video that makes it look easy! It's not,
but I am getting the hang of it...
- Fournier Enterprises Inc - more great metal working tools, also the author of a number of very
useful metal working books that I've read cover to cover a number of times.
- Fibre Glast - a great site for online technical information on building fiberglass parts.

An excellent online forum for exchanging Locost build information.
Visit or subscribe to the Locost, Locost Theory, Locost North America or Locost Racing lists.
www.hn.org - Provides free dynamic DNS services. I'm using their service to route
my domain name, 7builder.com, through my own webserver on the cheap (too
much time on my hands I guess). I point everything from that server to
my Roger's home page space that comes with my internet subscription, hence
the frames.
